Built in Sanbornville, NH. Educated for Results.

Royle Turf & Tick was founded by Tylar Royle, who grew up in New Hampshire and developed a deep appreciation for the land, the lakes, and the landscape that defines this region. Tylar pursued formal education in turfgrass science, earning a degree in Turfgrass Management from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in Tifton, Georgia, one of the premier programs in the country for turf, horticulture, and soil science.

While in Georgia, Tylar's education included regenerative agriculture and soil biology, giving him a foundation that goes far beyond conventional lawn care. He returned to New Hampshire determined to offer something different: a genuinely science-based, environmentally responsible approach to plant health care.

After years in tree work, Tylar discovered his deepest passion was in the living system beneath the grass: the soil. That realization became the cornerstone of Royle Turf & Tick's philosophy: build a better soil, and the healthy lawn follows.

"To Create a Healthier Yard for Everyone to Enjoy"

This mission drives every decision we make: what products we use, how we approach each property, and how we communicate with our customers. A healthier yard isn't just about appearance; it's about building a safe, thriving outdoor environment for families, pets, pollinators, and the surrounding ecosystem.

Our Core Values

These aren't marketing words. They guide how we show up for every customer, every day.

๐Ÿค

Honesty

We tell you what your yard actually needs, not what generates the most revenue. Straightforward, transparent communication in every interaction.

๐ŸŒ

Responsibility

We take our environmental impact seriously. Every product decision weighs efficacy against ecological impact, to protect bees, waterways, and the communities we serve.

โฐ

Reliability

When we say we'll be there, we're there. When we commit to a program, we deliver it consistently. Your yard depends on it.

๐Ÿ“š

Informative Transparency

We believe in educating our customers. You'll understand what we're applying, why, and what to expect, because an informed customer is our best partner.

๐Ÿ”

Meticulous Attention to Detail

From the soil test to the final application, we don't cut corners. The details are where the difference between a good lawn and a great one lives.

๐ŸŒฑ

Continuous Learning

Agronomy, soil science, and plant health care continue to evolve. We stay current with research so our customers benefit from the best approaches available.

We Live Here Too

New Hampshire's Eastern Lakes Region is more than our service area. It's home. We live on these lakes, hike these trails, and raise families here. That means we have a genuine stake in keeping the landscape healthy and the waterways clean.

It's why we don't offer synthetic pesticides for tick and mosquito control. It's why we developed a lake-friendly lawn program. And it's why we educate our customers about pollinator health, not because it's good marketing, but because it's the right thing to do.
