Lawn Care
Royle Turf and Tick provides a custom plan for every property we service. We attempted to come up with a “standard plan” but it’s just not agronomically feasible. Our soils vary drastically between the sandy soils of Ossipee and Shapleigh to the rocky loam around Lake Winnipesaukee and everything in between. Our first step is to always run a soil sample to show us what your lawn needs. Once we establish your lawn needs, we come up with a plan that will fit your budget.

Fertilizer
We use only the best fertilizer products on your lawns. The soil tests show us what macronutrients, micronutrients, and biostimulants to apply. Our main focus is to create a better soil which well then provide a healthy, green lawn.
Grub Control
Grubs can cause serious problems once they’re established in your soil. We offer both a preventative and a curative way of managing grubs.
Lime
Our lime recommendations come right from your soil sample. We have seen soils from extremely acidic to slightly basic. That’s the difference between needing a whole truck of lime to not needing any lime at all. Keep that in mind, if you’re current provider is putting down a bag of lime on every yard they service.
Aeration/Seeding
Aeration helps your soil in many important ways. It opens up the soil to help air, water, and nutrients to get deep into your root zone. We perform our aerations in the fall which creates a great opportunity to add more seed at the same time.
Organic Program
If you choose to use our organic program, then you can be assured that we will ONLY apply organic products. It’s long process to achieve a great-looking lawn through organics only but it is possible.
Lake-Friendly Program
Keeping the lakes clean is always on our minds. Phosphorus and nitrogen pollution is a serious issue when it comes to our bodies of water. We have created a program to maintain a healthy stand of turf while eliminating water pollution. A healthy well-balanced landscape can also greatly reduce shoreline erosion. In-depth explanation of our program coming soon.
